I was just thinking, if we sent all immigrants and all descendants of immigrants back to where they came from, the only thing left would be the animals and insects. Now that’s an interesting thought. Save animals from extinction, clear up the air, and clean up the rivers, lakes, and oceans. No trash discarded all over everywhere. If we’re going to go back to making America great again, how far back should we go? Maybe what we should do is work together to move America forward without hate and ignorance, rather than dragging it backwards to times best forgotten. There were no good old days. There is only hope for a better future; which, insolently, we have over the past. Maybe we should be ensuring that everyone has food to eat, clothes to wear, a nice place to sleep, child care, and health care. Beyond that, what else do we need? …okay, the rest is on you, but then you would have the time to think about how you can invent, improve, and enjoy what is here for us. If all you see is darkness, what does that say about the light in your soul? Do you need a match?
